I have had a very interesting couple of days.
We decided to sell our house.
We have a house where our two Hug-a-Bugs are sharing a bedroom and the Elder has been asking for her own space for a while now.
Something about finishing the bathroom must have spurred us on, because we were able to fix the ceiling in the living room where the lack of any watertight walls had allowed water to leak slowly for what must have been years and years.
We also were able to get rid of the horrible stall shower in the basement where we have been showering with centipedes for nearly 6 years.
Somehow, we're able to totally let this house go, safe in the knowledge that the house is in good shape for its next owner, whoever that might be.
It all has been a bit of a whirlwind, and we'll see what happens, but I am allowing myself to get a little excited.

ReplyDeleteCrazy! I know the feeling. We're in a 2 bedroom too. I know it won't be able to last too much longer. But I'm still hoping that we can finish the attic as I'm too lazy to pack and move.

My third floor still lays in wait for extreme make-over, low these many years.
And then there was the little matter of the dropping ceiling.
But I digress.
