Craft Hope

Last night, and into this morning, we had a neighborhood Crafty Mamas meetup, and we did the latest Craft Hope project together.
The Liberia Orphan Education Project helps by sending school supplies to Liberia.
They contacted Craft Hope and asked if people could send educational bean bag sets.
We gathered last night and made a set of alphabet bean bags and a set of the numbers 0-9.
It was a truly collaborative project.
We made a little assembly line, each of us in charge of one of the steps.
It's so gratifying to be able to help others, while working to strengthen our own little community.
I'm off to the post office now,
have a terrific weekend!

  3. What I like about this photo

    1. The mysteriously hidden kitten on the left
    2. Beers in the center!
    3. The beautiful looking room. It is impressive to me to have 3 sewing machines on the same craft table!
