As I travelled around Germany these last couple of weeks, I realized something about myself; I have an unhealthy obsession with street signs.
Here are a few of my favorites-
So much information without any words.
I love this kid holding his Mom's hand.
This hangs above a place for parents with buggies to sit on the train.

I love all of the details.
This guy has a hat on.
This little girl has a bow in her hair.
This one is wearing a belt.
And how cool of Germany to institute a Hokey-Pokey Zone!
I can't quite tell if this is "Put your right arm in" or "Put your left leg out"
More German fun tomorrow!
Jess
Welcome back and Happy belated Birthday!
ReplyDeletePatrick's favorite sign from Germany is the one that has a speed limit for tanks. We had to get a picture of that last time we were there. :)
What a great cultural element to focus on; I love it! Can't wait to see more of the trip.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah - welcome back!
Hahahahha ... Hokey-Pokey Zone ... I have to keep that in mind, next time I see the "Beware! Playing children" sign ... did u ever see that the traffic lights have grren and red men for "Walk" and "Don't walk"? In fact there are the "West"-German men and the "East"-German men ... the former DDR-traffic-light-men have hats on and are more "volumous"
ReplyDeleteHello from a German in Luxembourg
