Ginny again this week -
Reading Outlander, for book club in 2 1/2 weeks, I don't know if I can finish it, since I am only about 100 pages in, but it's really engaging so far.
Knitting a hat for the Treadle Sale, finished it last night.
It's a little small for me, but fits the Elder just fine.
What are you all knitting and reading?
I love Gabaldon's books. One of the few I reread. Cute hat!
ReplyDeleteMine is here. http://www.mymummyknits.com/yarn-along/
I love the hat, all those waves! All the book club posts make me wish I was in one, it would be a great way to find books I might not have otherwise picked up!
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading The Magicians by Lev Grossman. I'm sort of "meh" about it. I'm finding it easy to put down.
ReplyDeleteAs for knitting, I have half a sleeve left on the Oleria sweater (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/olearia) I started for Lola at the end of May. It's pretty much been in that same state since the beginning of June. So close and yet so far.
Also, the sleeves are only 3/4 length so technically I only have 3/8 of a sleeve to finish. Truly pathetic.
ReplyDeleteReading A Breath of Snow and Ashes (#6 in the Outlander series) and making slow progress on a cardigan. May switch to some charity knitting, since there is a call for hats and mittens at our church.
ReplyDeleteOutlander is my go-to book for airplane rides. I've read it so often the pages are falling out and I love it just as much every time!! And that hat is great!
ReplyDeleteOh that hat is darling! I'll have to add that book to my to-read list. Hope all is well with you!
ReplyDeleteCute zigzag hat!
ReplyDeleteThe colours of the hat remind me of honey -- warm and sunny.
ReplyDeleteThat hat is great!!! I love the zig zag!
ReplyDeleteLove that hat!
ReplyDeleteAnother one in the knit along? Sheesh.. I must be missing out by not being a knitter. I had better get started!
