What kind of tree is in your first picture? We spent at least an hour on Father's Day trying to figure out what that tree was. I think there's one like that in my parents' neighborhood and it's my favorite tree. Was the one you showed dropping lovely white petals like snow?

ReplyDeleteIt's a catalpa tree.
ReplyDeleteThis week is my very favorite, when the catalpa is blooming and the petals are falling and the fragrance is delightful.
